Amnesty International released a quote saying, "the death penalty legitimizes an irreversible act of violence by the state and will inevitably claim innocent victims... As long as human justice remains fallible, the risk of executing the innocent can never be eliminated." How does a believer in the death penalty reconcile with the Justice system's inherent fallibility? What is the best way to communicate this fallibility idea to supporters of the death penalty in order to persuade them to think otherwise?
